AIG
Democrats are in yet another pickle regarding AIG.  Their "bailout" plan, that was "carefully thought out" and "intellectually implemented", now is seen as having holes the size of Wisconsin (not just the cheese).  The bonuses that will be paid to AIG upper management are legal, and thanks to Senator Chris Dodd are actually a part of the bailout package that was drafted by a Democratic Senate and signed by a Democratic President.
While the President and Congress have all raised their voices in righteous protest, you'll note that the Democrats and the media will quiet down about the topic in the next 48 hours.  Too much attention would result in the voters actually finding out how the "best and brightest" so ineptly handled the bailout of AIG.

A reporter this morning noted that AIG is receiving more than $150 Billion in bailout cash.  Our Homeland Security Department has an annual budget of $50 Billion.,  So based on the size of government support, AIG should have a cabinet position, but their taxes are probably too clean for that.

Finally, guess who received the largest amount of campaign contributions from AIG last year?  Why none other than Senator Chris Dodd - head of the Senate banking committee.

It's getting pretty heavy!

Interesting analysis on the increasing load of government employees being carried by a rapidly shrinking pool of non-governmental employees:

75,000,000 people actually finance the remaining 225,000,000 people living in this country.

And that doesn't include the additional burden of illegal aliens.  It's an interesting read.
