Tax Day!
Be sure to get your taxes paid by midnight tonight, unless you've filed an extension or plan to serve in the Obama Cabinet.
Taxing Political Campaigns & PACS
This idea, started at the Republican Reporter Web site (via my wife), is gaining some traction. A state rep. heard the idea and is considering introducing it as a bill. The chance of passage is exactly zero.
However, media attention of the bill might encourage others to consider the idea. I'll keep you posted.
Tax Day Tea Party
They are going on all across the country today. It's not a Republican Event. It's not a Democrat event. It's simply citizens, who are fed up with OUR elected leaders continually asking us to sacrifice more, while our government refuses to spend less! Effingham's event will be at 6 pm at the Lake Sara Beach Open Pavilions.
Forecast for that hour is 55 degrees and mostly sunny.

The tax shouild be 50 percent. All payments should go to the national debt that this and the past administrations have created. It would be the American thing to do.
