Nearly every road construction site in the state of Illinois will have speed cameras in place to catch ANYONE going even a mile over the posted speed limit in construction zones.

A friend who operates a road construction firm confirmed that these cameras will be in place, this week, on projects in Central and Southern Illinois.  They will likely remain there throughout the summer.

The speed cameras simply snaps the photo and the ticket is mailed to you.  First offense - $375.  Second one is $1,000.
