Gosh.....come to think of it, I've never seen a poll on this.....
We see all kinds of silly polls in the news. (Obama's approval rating after drinking beer with a cop. Should Blagojevich's wife be voted off Celebrity Island? You know, critical stuff that really determines the direction of our great republic.)
As we approach the creation of Obamacare (modeled after a Canadian system), it would be interesting to see the popularity of the system. Wouldn't it? But no one's apparently conducted such a poll.
Well, Paul conducted an informal poll on the popularity of the Canadian system. Luckily the results were caught on tape.
CANADIAN HEALTH CARE POLL (click on his photo for a very revealing informal poll)
Let's just say the results were not what he expected.

Krugman's a joke. He spews nothing but hate and nothing but nonsense. The Nobel Prize committee is a joke. These people give awards to people that don't know anything about what they're talking about. Krugman's economics are dis-proven almost on a daily basis, by history, and by rational economists. These people also gave an Nobel to Al Gore. What's next, give a Peace prize to Hugo Chavez?

If you want to know how Canadians feel about their healthcare system, just do a simple google search. What you will find is that Canadians by huge numbers really like their healthcare system. While not perfect [ show me many things in the world that are ] they can't fathom how Americans can accept their healthcare system in which healthcare is controlled by the insurance companies. You'll also find the most popular Canadian is not a hockey player, but instead is a politician named Tommy Douglas who is credited with the formation of their universal healthcare system. Don't let the facts get in your way.

Bill,
It's nice to have you back! I've talked with a variety of Canadians and US Citizens originally from Canada. It's pretty overwhelming in their distain for the system.
Government led health care also means Government led health care research. Maybe you missed an earlier piece in the Republican Reporter, but what percentage of all drugs listed in the Physicians' Desk Reference were generated from the BILLIONS of dollars in research spent by the Federal Government?
