It's a "NEW" type of Halloween
My wife pointed out an interesting phenomenon that's occuring in the run up to Halloween.
This time of year, stores are always filled with the various costumes and masks for the merriment of trick or treating.
In the late 1990's the mask section of the stores began to offer a full range of political masks (Clinton, Bush, Hillary, even Monica Lewinsky).
Of course the masks evolved with the political season. In the new millenium, Bush and Cheney masks were found everywhere along with a few John Kerry masks. Or was it Herman Munster?
But, I digress.................
Audra pointed out that, this year, the stores contain a variety of political masks. But few if any stores are carrying Barack Obama masks. That's right. For whatever reason (and I'm happy to provide some of my own ideas), stores have decided not to carry Obama masks.
Inch by inch they appear to be a making a "Change". But it's one they hope we aren't noticing.

Ah.... but walmart is selling obamma christmas ornaments. go figure!! now it is legal to hang a black from a tree..
