Halloween

Having a fun costume certainly helps to make for a fun Halloween weekend.  Again, thanks to Republican Reporter Publisher (and my wife) Audra for the costume idea, and basically coming up with all the parts.

First of all, here's the costume:

It's the Grim Reaper, with a fearsome looking scythe!
And, then I would pull back the hood to reveal........

Barack Obama!!!!!

Audra found an Obama mask in Springfield.  I'm sure this won't be the last time that it makes an appearance.
In addition to wearing the costume for a few weekend events, I decided to don it to visit a relative whose recovering from surgery.  Although the relative is still in the hospital, I was not dissuaded from wearing the costume.

Although, as I walked through the front doors of St. Anthony's, I realized the patients (including my in-law) might not be that thrilled with seeing the Grim Reaper walking the halls..........and Barack Obama even less so!!   Hence, I kept the costume (and mask) under wraps until I was just outside the room.

My other favorite story is walking into a house where some friends' 12 year old daughters were collecting candy.  They saw the Grim Reaper and let out a collective scream.  I pulled back the hood and they screamed even louder!   (I always like to perform for a FRIENDLY audience.)

Again, thanks to my lovely bride for putting the ensemble together.

I love it! Matt and I were trying to come up with a way to be health care reform (couldn't think of a good, easy representation) or swine flu and Tamiflu (but the costume store was out of pig snouts)!

Bob - here is alink of pix from the Freakfest on State St in Madison this past weekend. Lots of H1N1 costumes down there & surprised there are not more pix - they were pretty creative.

Check out pix 12 of 45 on Volume 1

Check out pix 5 of 16 on Volume 2 - even the state Capitol got gussied up as a ginormous pink boob for the event.

replica watches d shirts fake rolex thick cotton shirts and the coarser oxford fabric shirts are out of place during the warmer days Also less suited are dress shirts with a button down collar Good choices are dress shirts in lighter pastel colors such as light blue light rose-pink mint green franck muller replica peach orange replica montblanc watches and light lemon-yellow If these colors are too flamboyant for you then you can always go with a light blue dress shirt Besides solid colored shirts play with patterns Great are fine checkered as well as striped dress shirts in li franck muller
