Want a sense of what it's like in Massachusetts this weekend?
From my friend in Boston......
So far two presidents have called my house today (Clinton and Obama) as well as the candidates and Scott Brown's American Idol daughter and a Catholic group mad about Coakley's comment that Catholics should not work in emergency rooms. Boy is this fun. I still say Brown takes it. Both sides are going all out.
And from a local blog:
Martha held a rally @ Michael's Harborside in Newburyport sat. Next to it is the Gillis bridge that goes over the Merrimack, Brown supporters lined the bridge which looks down into the parking lot. Tons of people driving by were leaning on the horns, We out numbered her supporters 5-1 It was HER RALLY. …Martha was an hour late, we heckled with a "where is Martha" chant. It was UNBELIVABLE newburyport is (was)a very liberal city.
For once, I'm really, really interested in an election outside of my own state! So curious to see what Obama's appearance today will do...
