Oh! That's what she meant....................

I mentioned previously that Obama aide, Valerie Jarrett, appearing on Meet the Press, stated that a major accomplishment of the President's first term was the fact that, "we are liked much more overseas, than we were a year ago."

Today, I read this headline, Capitalism's woes cheered at World Social Forum.

The leftists of the world are cheering the demise of United States.

Based on Jarrett's standards and logic, high unemployment and an anemic US economy are actually a great indicator of how well this President is doing.........overseas.

Related to this.....I'll remind readers that I've conversed with a former program director for CN (Canadian News Service).   She was a news programmer during the Clinton years. And, she candidly admitted to me that due to her love for Bill and Hillary, during her stint as a programmer, she never put anything on the news that cast the President in a bad light.

Do you get the connection?  When someone says "Well, the US is liked much better now",  that's driven by the individuals that control the foreign news outlets, just like here in the US.  And like the US for nearly 40 years, many of those foreign news outlets are controlled by left-wing liberals.

Whether it's a nation or your own actions, the question is not, "How do other's feel about me?", but rather, "How do I feel about myself?".

Prompted by the far-reaching message of Scott Brown's election, President Obama is now promoting job creation and a spending freeze.  Worthy objectives, all.

However, I'm reminded of the first few months of Illinois Gov. Blagojevich's administration in which he chose to "clean house" and eliminated many state boards, or individual members from their seats.  The move was greeted with optimism by both the press and the public, because of it's cost savings.

However, Blago simply used the tactic to put his own "cronies" into some of the board, and consolidate the power of the boards he eliminated.  His "cost saving" measure had nothing to do with fiscal responsibility and everything to do with giving himself more power.

I'm always skeptical, when someone like Obama suddenly finds "religion" on a topic.  It's not that I'm not supportive.  Rather, we need to keep a suspicious eye on his moves.

I've received queries from a number of loyal readers asking who I'm intending to vote for in the upcoming Illinois primary.
I hope to have a complete list out in the next day or so.
